Well, I bought my Christmas present early...funny how often that happens!
But I think it will get a lot of holiday use:
Panasonic PV-GS150 Mini DV Camcorder
Not cheap, but it has all the options I could think of, and I shouldn't have to
wish I had gotten the "next level up" unless I wanted to move on to a $1500 movie
Now I gotta go home and make some more money!!

Ok, so it's been a while (Todd...) sue me!
What's new? I guess I'll work backwards.
Sunday was beautiful, and a good day to finish prepping for winter...turned
the motor home around with the help of the boy, standing in traffic helping
me back up...so I could back it up the drive to be ready for spring's easy
Saturday night got a gig from our new "booking agent" at the href="http://www.blackpointinn.com/">Black Point Inn in Prouts Neck,
Scarborough. A nice duo gig with Lindsey, and our new band: href="http://www.lucidjazz.com/">Lucid. We had a good crowd that stayed
throughout the performance (only 8:30-10) and clapped after every song. A
long ride home though...! Check out the website...there's a CD up and coming...
Last week we had an awesome href="http://www.roundabout-theband.com">Roundabout rehearsal last
Wednesday, and tried out a new horn section...sax and trumpet. They were
both awesome, and sight read the charts like mad, as well as ad-libbed some
parts that weren't called for, but were tasteful and melodic, and sparse.
Well we just found out that the sax player can't/won't come on
board...totally understandable that he just doesn't feel right about bowing
out of a current working situation. My hope is that the trumpet player has
someone else who might fit the bill.
Finally got my old desktop computer back up and running (thanks to
Rockbound Computer and $500 bucks!) that's been down since March! I got 2
200 Gig hard drives running a raid-array so that I have constant backup
finally! Good for the customers!
I can't sell 2 of my friggin' old cars...the '86 Scirocco (has a little
rust and needs a little tlc, but runs fine, I want $1200) and the '93 Buick
Century Wagon...runs great, has a nice JVC 200 watt CD player, but has a
squealing transmission and I'm asking $700.
Well, it's 11:30, that's enough for now!
( I tried to publish this post 10 times during the week from home, and it wouldn't
